About My Prints
Many of my photographs are available for purchase in small-edition, gallery-quality archival pigment prints. These fine art prints are made with archival pigment inks on acid-free fine art paper, providing exceptional quality and longevity.
Limited Editions
All of the prints I offer are limited editions. This means that a strictly limited number of prints will be produced of a particular photograph. Each print is individually signed and labelled with the print number and edition size. For example, a print labelled 2/9 would be the second print made in an edition of nine.
As of 2024, all new photographs available for sale are in small editions of nine prints plus three artist's proofs. Once nine prints of any size are sold, the edition is closed. Additional copies will not be made under a separate edition, size, or format.
Certain photos are offered in a larger edition size if copies were previously sold and numbered in a larger edition.
Editions and Print Sizes
Photographs may may be offered in two or three print sizes. Prints are numbered in the order that they are produced, regardless of print size. All available sizes comprise a single numbered edition.
Signatures
Archival prints are signed and numbered on the front of the print, in the lower margin. Framed archival prints are matted with a narrow border and the signature visible. Photographic prints in floater frames with face-mounted acrylic have a signed and numbered edition label affixed to the reverse, including a serial number, and come with a matching Certificate of Authenticity.
About Artist's Proofs
By convention, a limited edition of prints includes a small, fixed number of artist's proofs in addition to the numbered prints. These are typically kept by the photographer or given away. My editions include up to three artist's proofs, which are not available for sale.
I Love One Of Your Photographs. Why Can't I Buy A Print?
There are several reasons that prints of a particular photo may not be available. One is that the edition may be sold out, meaning no more prints will be made.
In a few cases, prints may have been sold previously with numbering that is not consistent with my current editioning standards. In order to maintain the consistency of my edition numbering, no new prints of these photographs are available for sale.
